Ashri Studio is a photography and art studio founded by Alyaa, a Nubian, self-taught photographer. The name Ashri, meaning beautiful in the Nubian language, reflects a belief in the quiet beauty that lives in all things—places, people, moments, and the unseen spaces between them. What began as an unplanned relationship with the camera became a way of sensing the world, guided by intuition and followed by intention. Alyaa’s work moves between lands and encounters, shaped by curiosity, tenderness, and the stories found along the way. Each image offers a pause—an opening to experience the world through emotion, movement, and shared humanity.
